I do my best in the number 10 position- Kudus Mohammed

Mohammed Kudus, a forward/midfielder for Ghana, has emphasized his best position ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Kudus made a clear statement about what he thought to be his strongest position in an interview with the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

His remarks follow his fourth goal in the UEFA Champions League this year, which he scored in AFC Ajax's 3-1 victory over Glasgow Rangers. For his efforts, he received the Man of the Match Award. (To read the tale, click the highlighted text.)

The Dutch team, on the other hand, was unable to go through the Round of 16 and will now have to play in the Europa League. Kudus contributed to Steven Berghuis' fourth-minute goal in the victory over Rangers.

"I still believe I perform at my highest level while holding onto the number 10 spot...

I'm the team's number nine player, he declared.

Ajax's three-man frontline had Kudus in the centre, who played the entire 3-1 victory over Rangers.

At this year's World Cup, where Ghana will play in Group H against Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal, the 22-year-old is all but guaranteed to play for Ghana.

Kudus has participated in a variety of midfield and offensive roles for Ghana's Black Stars.
