Ghana must work once more, Samini informs Nana Addo

Samini, a musician, lamented the nation's dismal economic state and blamed President Akufo-Addo for it.

In a Facebook post, Samini stated his support for the President's bid for reelection in 2020 because he agreed with his message of change.

The "My Own" hit maker said that his soul bleeds as he expressed his unhappiness with the course of events.

"Our investments are being destroyed every day as the dollar blatantly devalues our cedi. We cannot act as though everything is fine. But if God has given Ghana anything, it is the capacity to face adversity head-on and proclaim, "It will #bealright," bemoaned Samini.

Ghana must resume working! He said, "Where is the Nana Addo who asked us for the mandate?

Samini's complaints come after a recent steep depreciation of the cedi, with a dollar now trading for GH14.7.

Transportation unions have said that starting on Monday, October 24, 2022, fares will increase due to the above 40% inflation rate and skyrocketing fuel prices.

Government representatives maintain that external forces are to blame for the economic downturn, but sector specialists, including those from the World Bank and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), attribute the problems to bad economic decisions.

Samini has meantime asked Ghanaians to maintain their faith and to pray for a better Ghana.

Insubordination in both high and low levels of government needs to be reined down. We press forth and keep the hope alive. A man without hope is what? We can only keep asking God for a better day. We shall #bealright, I declare to all of my high school students.
