Due to issues with message sending and receiving, WhatsApp is now unavailable.

Thousands of users are currently experiencing issues sending and receiving messages on the instant messaging service WhatsApp.

Several users who have complained about the issue on Twitter claim they are unable to send both personal and group messages.

Thousands of users worldwide are unable to access the communication app owned by Meta, according to the outage reporting website DownDetector.

Users from Ghana, Kenya, India, Italy, and other nations have complained on social media platforms about not being able to send messages.

Users have not been able to deliver messages on desktop or mobile. For some people, their private messages only get one tick.

The business has stated that it is attempting to get the app back up for users.

In addition to WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram are also owned by Meta. "We're aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages, and we're working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible," said a spokesperson for Meta.
